Photography

Photography has been a passion of mine for many years. My images have evolved from my early Black and White photojournalistic statements to my more recent explorations of the textures, angles and palettes of Color Photography.

I've also been able to combine my love of travel with photography and look for ways to present images not normally seen, as well as familiar images from unique perspectives.

At times, my photographs can be identified as indigenous to a particular country or place and need no further exploration; the images speak for themselves. At other times, I focus on incidental details that are not necessarily evident to the viewer's eye. Frequently, I find myself moving away from the image I've composed in my viewfinder to focus on the graphic elements of the photograph rather than the original subject matter itself. I strive to create a new artistic image from the lines, curves, shapes and textures of color.
